Richard Enright was convicted by a jury on three counts of a four-count indictment. Count 1 charged him with conspiracy to violate 18 U.S.C. § 1955 (1976), which prohibits the operation of certain illegal gambling businesses. Count 2 charged the substantive offense under Section 1955 by aiding and abetting in the operation of the business.
