The Superior Oil Company (Superior) petitions for review of an order of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).1 The issue is whether the FERC erred in deciding that Superior's 1953 gas sales contract had not expired of its own terms within the meaning of the FERC's replacement contract policy.
