Howard Carroll and Robert Wilson were convicted on charges of making fraudulent and misleading statements in the offer and sale of securities, and with having aided and abetted in using the United States mails to further the fraud. 15 U.S.C. §§ 77q(a), 77x; 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 1341.
