This is an appeal from a forfeiture action brought under 19 U.S.C. § 1595a and 31 U.S.C. § 1102 against an automobile and $17,883.00 in currency. The district court granted the forfeiture except as to $5,000.00, which was held to be exempt under 31 U.S.C. §§ 1101 and 1102.
