The appellants, members of the Gossett family, brought this action under the Fair Labor Standards Act to recover from the defendants minimum wages totalling $5,486.64. They alleged that in 1975 they were employed for slightly over two months at Swanee's Motel, one of two motels owned by the defendant-appellee Du-Ra-Kel Corporation and managed by Du-Ra-Kel's president, defendant-appellee Duane Swanson.
