OPINION

HARBISON, Justice.

Petitioner, an associate professor of chemistry, instituted this action against Christian Brothers College for alleged breach of contract of employment. He also claimed damages for defamation against certain individual members of the faculty. All of his claims were dismissed following a non-jury trial in the circuit court.
