This is an appeal by the defendant from judgments entered in Superior Court totaling $27,3001 after a jury verdict for the plaintiffs. The plaintiffs, husband and wife, based their claims on personal injuries sustained by Helen Lacy in the defendant's department store. As grounds for this appeal, the defendant challenges evidentiary rulings and the denial of its motion for a new trial by the trial justice...
