This is an appeal from a suit on several notes. Burl Bowden, receiver for the First State Bank, Aransas Pass, Texas, appellee, brought suit on six notes against L. V. Elliott, appellant. Elliott answered by general denial and asserted, among other things, affirmative defenses of statute of limitations and estoppel.
