OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Judge.

In 1975 the petitioner, James B. Donovan, III, pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to five to ten years in prison. Subsequently he pleaded guilty to the offense of attempt to commit a felony and received a concurrent one year sentence. In 1977 he filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus, which was transferred to the trial court where it was treated as a petition for post-conviction relief under T.C.A. § 40-3808...
