This appeal is yet another repercussion of the national gas shortage. The issue presented is whether the Louisiana Public Service Commission (Commission) properly reduced rates within its jurisdiction charged to several municipalities by a gas pipeline company for the purpose of removing prejudicial effects caused by the company's sale of gas to industries at prices below cost under long term contracts, which are not within the statutory jurisdiction...
