Samuel E. Haley, Jr., appeals from his conviction for possession of a firearm, after having been convicted of a felony, in violation of 18 U.S.C. App. § 1202(a)(1). His principal contention on appeal is that the trial court erred in failing to suppress a firearm seized during the warrantless search of his briefcase.
