The State jointly charged Alvin Senette and Michael Colton with distribution of heroin, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966. After trial, the jury found them both guilty as charged. The court sentenced Senette to life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
