FERREN, Associate Judge:

A jury convicted appellant of first-degree burglary, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-1801(a), and grand larceny, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2201, on April 29, 1977. The court sentenced him to consecutive terms of from eight to twenty-five years (burglary) and from one to three years (grand larceny) but suspended sentence and placed appellant on probation for five years, conditioned upon completion of the Regional Addiction Program (RAP).
