A few weeks before plaintiff's home was totally destroyed by fire, an officer of a bank which had a mortgage on plaintiff's home and had in its possession a fire insurance policy issued by Insured Lloyds naming the bank as loss payee, caused the policy to be canceled by the insurance company.
