On January 19, 1976, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, plaintiff, Richard Morales, a holder of common stock of Mylan Laboratories, Inc. ("Mylan"), brought suit against Mylan and George W. Wyckoff, Jr. (now deceased), who was one of Mylan's directors, to recover for the benefit of Mylan short-swing profits allegedly realized by Mr. Wyckoff in contravention of § 16(b)...
