On September 7, 1977, the Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger, United States Magistrate, in a thorough and carefully analyzed opinion, found that petitioner's original conviction and sentence of twelve years in 1967 were lawful, and recommended that the petition for a writ of habeas corpus be denied.
