JONES, Justice.

Daniel (Danny) Lee Wainscott appeals from a judgment sentencing him to life imprisonment pursuant to a jury verdict finding him guilty of murder under the provisions of KRS 507.020(1).

There are numerous other questions, but the principal issues deal with whether Danny was sane at the time he committed the offense and whether his confession was voluntary. To dispose of these and other issues, it is necessary to detail some of the evidence presented...
