Eckert-Tompkins subcontracted a portion of this contract to August Bohl Contracting Co., Inc., and Cooley Contracting Co., Inc. (Bohl-Cooley), a joint venture. Bohl-Cooley commenced work in October, 1968 which continued for about six months. On April 18, 1969, Bohl-Cooley was notified by Eckert-Tompkins that the project was terminated.
