The suit out of which this appeal arises was initiated by appellee-First Alabama Bank of Montgomery in an effort to recover the proceeds from two checks endorsed by appellant-James M. "Jimmy" Dozier and presented to First Alabama Bank for deposit in Dozier's account. Following a non jury trial on the matter, the Circuit Court of Montgomery County rendered a judgment in favor of First Alabama Bank in the amount of $1,425 plus interest and costs. From...
