This is an appeal from a conviction of manslaughter in the first degree and a sentence of ten years' imprisonment. The undisputed evidence reveals that on August 15, 1976, the appellant and his wife were separated, that he went to her apartment and, with the knowledge that someone other than his wife was inside the apartment, fired one or two shots into the front window.
