HARRISON, Justice.

On June 14, 1977, defendant Wayne Leighty pled guilty in justice court to the misdemeanor offense of "outfitting without a license". He appealed to District Court and on October 17, 1977, a jury trial commenced in the District Court of the Nineteenth Judicial District, the Honorable Robert M. Holter presiding. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and defendant was fined $300. He appeals.
