The appellant, Wilson Gunter, was indicted by the Pulaski County Grand Jury on January 14, 1976, for the murder of Judy Cash (KRS 507.020) and first-degree arson of his own apartment (KRS 513.020). He was convicted of murder and second-degree arson and sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment on the murder charge and five years' on the arson charge, the sentences to run concurrently.
