A jury found Hinkle guilty of robbery (Count I) and of committing a crime of violence (robbery) when armed with a firearm (Count II), and fixed his sentence on Count II at ten years in prison and a $100.00 fine. The court entered judgment committing him to an indeterminate term of 10 to 25 years on the first count and a consecutive term of ten years determinate (and a $100.00 fine) on the second count.
