This is an action to recover on a loan. From the testimony at trial, the court finds that on the last day of 1977, defendant visited plaintiff at her home seeking a loan to advance his business ventures. He represented himself to be desperately in need of Funds before the end of the calendar year. To persuade plaintiff to lend him the money immediately, defendant promised permanent employment for plaintiff and her daughter
