MANDERINO, Justice.

Appellant, Charles W. Slaughter, was tried before a judge and jury and convicted of murder in the first degree on March 31, 1975. Penalty was fixed by the jury at life imprisonment. Post-verdict motions were filed and an appeal followed to this Court. On April 28, 1978, an opinion affirming the judgment of sentence was filed, in which a majority of the court concluded that the issues raised...
