BISSETT, Justice.

This is a suit on two promissory notes brought by Burl Bowden, as Receiver for the First State Bank, Aransas Pass, Texas, against Louis L. Seiffert, Jr. A trial before the court resulted in a judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $197,789.41 for principal and interest, together with attorney's fees of $19,778.00. Defendant has appealed.
