Defendant Stonnie Green was convicted of possession of less than 30 grams of a controlled substance (heroin) in violation of section 1402(b) of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1975, ch. 56½, par. 1402(b)) after a bench trial in the Circuit Court of Will County. He received a prison sentence of two to six years.
