Plaintiff respondent Norma B. Cheney Lynch brought this action in April, 1974, in Cassia County to establish as a foreign judgment in this state the amount of arrearages due under a modified California child support order. The district court ruled that the father, defendant appellant Ross Cheney, had not sustained the burden of proving his defense that Norma Cheney Lynch had orally agreed to cancel the arrearages and awarded her $5,350.00 in unpaid...
