This is an appeal from the Colbert County Court wherein appellant was convicted of speeding on a public highway and a fine of $10.00 was assessed against him, together with the Court costs. Appellant is not an indigent. When his case was called for trial he appeared in open court in his own proper person, without counsel, and agreed to proceed to trial on the original affidavit to which charge he pleaded not guilty.
