PALMORE, Justice.

At about 3:30 on Saturday afternoon, November 1, 1975, two men held up and robbed a Kroger grocery store at 1318 Berry Boulevard in Louisville. A short time later the appellants, James Leroy Cain and Louis Clarence Morrow, were arrested in an apartment at 1619 Onita* Court, which is in the same general sector of the city. The arresting officers made a search of the apartment and recovered a pistol, a sawed-off shotgun...
