BOOCHEVER, Chief Justice.

The estate of Donney Pushruk, a/k/a Donney Mogg, has appealed from a superior court order granting summary judgment to general creditors entitling them to proceeds from the settlement of a wrongful death claim. The appeal raises a number of questions requiring the construction and interpretation of Alaska's wrongful death statute, AS 09.55.580.1 We affirm
