OPINION

KELLEHER, Justice.

The plaintiffs are husband and wife. On November 29, 1970, a gas-fed explosion completely demolished their Warwick home.

Thereafter, they instituted this action and in their complaint alleged that the defendant was negligent by its failure, after having been asked to do so, to remove a "high-pressure gas service" that was located in their cellar and by its assurance that the high-pressure gas service had been "disconnected...
