Appellant was convicted of the offense of possession of marijuana after having been previously convicted of possession of marijuana in the State of Alabama. Appellant was represented by retained counsel and at arraignment he pleaded not guilty. The Court sentenced appellant to nine years and six months in the penitentiary.
