This is a case of first impression as to several aspects of uninsured motor vehicle insurance coverage.

Janice Garland was injured in a one-vehicle automobile accident. She was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Kenneth Downey, age 16 years, and owned by Robbie Raspberry.
