Defendants Samuel Proctor and Willie Young, Jr. were jointly charged by bill of information with one count of armed robbery and nine counts of attempted first degree murder. La.R.S. 14:64; La.R.S. 14:27; La.R.S. 14:30. They were tried jointly by a twelve person jury and found guilty of one count of armed robbery, eight counts of attempted first degree murder and one count of attempted second degree murder.
