Ernest R. Apodaca appeals from his conviction of the offense of obstructing a police officer. He contends that the trial court erred (1) in denying his motion for discovery of the Seattle Police Department's internal investigation files, (2) in excluding the introduction of evidence of self-defense, and (3) in refusing to grant a continuance requested on the first day of trial.
