On May 12, 1975, defendant Bruce Wilhelm was arrested by officers of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office upon probable cause for the commission of the crime of grand larceny by possession. On May 13, he was charged by justice court complaint with two felonies: grand larceny by possession and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Bail was fixed but he remained in custody continuously until August 7, 1975. On August 7, he petitioned for a writ of habeas...
