This is a personal injuries case arising out of an automobile accident which occurred on January 13, 1970, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The plaintiffs sued the defendants in negligence and strict liability in tort. The trial resulted in verdicts for all defendants on all counts. On June 20, 1975, Douglas, J., set aside as against the weight of the evidence the verdicts for General Motors Corporation...
