Pursuant to G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, the defendant appeals from a conviction for carrying a firearm in violation of G.L.c. 269, § 10 (a). There was no evidence to show that the defendant did not have a license to carry a firearm, and the defendant argues that there was error in the denial of his motion for a directed verdict and in the instructions to the jury on the subject of licensing...
