In this case of importance to worker's compensation practice, we issue an opinion on appellant's application for leave to appeal. See GCR 1963, 806.7.

The question we address is whether the Workmen's Compensation Appeal Board1 has jurisdiction to reconsider its orders dismissing appeals because of appellant's failure to comply with 1975 PA 34 which is § 862 of the Worker's Disability Compensation Act of 1969, MCLA...
