Plaintiffs, residents of "townhomes and/or single family dwellings in Harris County, Texas," brought this suit individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, seeking injunctive relief from a policy of the United States Postal Service which denied them door-to-door delivery service, on the grounds that it deprived them of equal protection under the Constitution and that it was promulgated without a public hearing as required by 39 U.S.C.A...
