Defendants, Donald McGowan, Cotton's Inc., and United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company (U.S.F. & G.), appeal a judgment rendered against them and defendant Carolyn Patterson (in absentia), in solido, in the amount of $35,000.00 for the wrongful death of plaintiff's minor son, Lonnie Sherman Sullivan, who was fatally injured as a result of an automobile accident on U.S. Highway 190 in Livingston Parish.
