The defendant was indicted for murder, armed robbery, and unlawfully carrying a firearm, and was convicted of murder in the second degree, larceny, and unlawfully carrying a firearm. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, the other charges were placed on file with his consent, and he appeals under G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, arguing two assignments of error.
