When Armando Duran walked into the Nelson's Corner Gas Station and told 17-year-old Mark Wilson, on duty there, that he was carrying a shotgun and had four armed confederates outside, Mark believed him and handed over the cash drawer. At least, the young man was disinclined to argue the point, for he had no way of knowing at the moment that what appeared to be a shotgun would turn...
