Plaintiff-lessor, H. Avdich, brought this forcible entry and detainer action in the circuit court of Cook County against defendant-lessee, Karl Kleinert, to recover possession of premises at 4701-05 North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. The complaint also claimed rent of $460 for January 1976. After a bench trial, judgment was entered in favor of plaintiff for possession and rent. The...
