Plaintiffs appeal from the dismissal of their suit for damages based on the claim that Mrs. John Martin contracted serum hepatitis from a blood transfusion required in connection with surgery received by her. Suit was directed initially against Southern Baptist Hospital. Subsequent to a third-party demand filed by the hospital against the New Orleans Blood Bank, Inc. (NOBB), plaintiffs, by supplemental petition, joined the blood bank as a party defendant...
