LETTS, Judge.

This appeal stems from a dissolution of marriage in which the wife of a successful doctor received a $500.00 per month award of permanent alimony.

This cause is reversed in part.

The McAllisters were married in 1951 while he was a medical student and she an employed pharmacist. The record reflects that the wife worked, to assist her husband finish school,1 for over a year after the marriage, and almost immediately...
