DIERINGER, Presiding Justice:

A mental health petition was filed in the circuit court of Cook County, alleging William Espinoza (hereinafter "the respondent") to be in need of mental treatment. A hearing was held on February 14, 1977. The respondent was found to be in need of mental treatment and was committed to the Department of Mental Health. Notice of appeal was filed and the public defender was appointed to represent the respondent.
