In August 1962 plaintiff was qualified to practice law in Illinois and became a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of Illinois. On April 30, 1969, he was convicted by a jury under nine counts of an indictment charging violations of the mail fraud statute (18 U.S.C. § 1341).
