ARNOLD, Judge.

Refusal by the trial judge to grant defendant's motion to suppress his statements of confession is assigned as error. Defendant entered a plea of guilty to the charge and he has never denied guilt. However, his argument is properly raised by this appeal.

"An order finally denying a motion to suppress evidence may be reviewed upon an appeal from a judgment of conviction, including a judgment entered upon a plea of guilty." G.S. 15A-979(b).<...
